Krymsk 86®

Parentage: peach x plum

Genetic Background: P. cerasifera x P. persica

Excellent anchorage and general tolerance of root diseases has made Krymsk 86 popular in the Sacramento Valley.  Does not perform as well on sandy soils. Susceptible to rootknot and ring nematodes.

Rootstocks with plum heritage are often smaller in sandy/sandy loam soils than in loam or clay loam soils
